  • Venue execs and box office managers needed easy access to critical real-time sales data in order to make informed decisions throughout the life of their events, especially during on-sales. We set out to make a native companion application to Ticketmaster ONE, in order to get them hooked on Ticketmaster’s data.

The company’s leadership also aimed to enhance operational efficiency because it R&D historically took months-to-years to bring features to market, and selected Ticker for a lean transformation workshop to reduce internal communication problems, increase project transparency, and eliminate wasted resources.

  • Venue execs
Busy professionals who spend their time running the business, and closing deals. They are hardly ever at their desk. Because of this they historically haven't been avid users of TM One, and rely on direct reports.

This is a male dominated field, and product felt that watches were the best platform to get them excited about tm ONE.

  • "Ticker has been my director's gateway drug to tm ONE"

Quote from one of our customer's box office managers regarding the impacts Ticker and the watch had on their org.

Venue execs are busy decision makers who are never at their desk. The org believes venue execs would benefit using from tm ONE, but they aren’t using Ticketmaster ONE regularly and delegating those tasks to their reports.

Product management wants to bring Ticker onto the Apple watch in order to get VE’s excited about easy access to their data, and operationalize simple real-time tasks.
